Even the chickens were out enjoying the nice weather this past weekend!

I love seeing the first signs of Spring, especially during a snow storm!? Look what I found in the chicken coop this weekend! We failed to get our coop set up on timers for longer light this winter so the girls stopped laying for a bit. Now that our days are getting longer again it looks like they are getting ready to start overloading us with eggs again! Can’t wait ~ We’ve been missing our never ending egg supply around here!

With Spring around the corner we are full of ideas and making big plans! 2012 looks to be an exciting year for our farm with huge garden plans, goat milk products and lots of fresh eggs. Our new horse barn will be constructed soon as well, making room for more rescue horses. We’ve got some busy months ahead of us and we are dying to get started!
